Skateboarding has been one of the famous activities in the Balinese youth community. It not only draws other boarders from other cities in Indonesia, such as Jakarta, but also many international boarders try their skills on skateparks in Bali.

1. Motion Skatepark

It’s considered as the best skatepark in Bali. Motion Skatepark is an indoor skatepark that welcomes all ages to skate. The ramps are in good shape and everything is skate-able.

2. Balangan Skate Surf

Balangan Surf Skate Bowl is a concrete skatepark with an over vertical extension. The bowl is kind of small, a very recommended place for beginners riding bowl.

3. Pretty Poison

As the most popular underground skate in Canggu, Pretty Poison has an original Californian style skate pool also known as the “dog bowl”. There are weekly skate jams, live music and DJs there that attract a lot of people to have a drink and watch the skaters.

4. Bukit Bowl

Bukit Bowl is a skatepark with an accommodation, you can stay at the hostel and enjoy surf and skate there. The bowl itself is around 7 to 8 foot deep with pool coping and very well used by locals and travellers alike, including professional skateboarders.

5. ESS Bali | Eat, Sleep and Skate

Another skate park with an accommodation is ESS Bali, which means Eat Sleep Skate Bali. It is located in Sanur with amazing bowl and great community. You just simply eat, sleep, skate, and repeat.

6. Outside Corner Bowl

The Outside Corner bowl, located in Uluwatu, is a square shaped with different radius, corner sizes and assured a nice grind with solid steel coping and it’s open for anyone that wants to come by and have a shred. An added extension with bullnose Pool coping creates more lines and forces faster skating.

7. Deus Ex Machina - Temple of Enthusiasm 

The Temple of Enthusiasm from Deus ex Machina is one of a must ‘go to’ spot to if you want to skate. With the height of 1.5 m, Deus mini ramp suits for everyone’s style. Check them out on Sunday nights where the late skate jams attract the crowds, which makes skating there a really exciting experience.

8. Amplitude School of Skate and Bike

With a fun pump track and skate bowl, the Race Amplitude is a large skate area filled with rails and obstacles for all levels and spreads over an area of 2000 square meters. The 270 cm (in ft) deep skate bowl is only for more experienced skaters.

9. Konkrete Store, Bar & Cafe

Konkrete Bowl is part of the Konkrete Store, Cafe and Bar. It’s a small concrete bowl with well built pool that has super slippy concrete coping. It’s a place to meet other friendly skateboards too!

10. Globe Bali Skate Park

Globe Bali Bowl is located in Jimbaran and its concrete bowl has a lot of lines. There is a small mini ramp with the volcano as a nice touch and the bowl is great to get extra speed lines.
